Wedding Day

by Independence Forever   Oct 9, 2007

A crowd of visitors, usher escorts
many presents, with food imports

in the midst stand a young girl carrying the day
planning the wedding, she's anything but Grey

grooms men, Bride's maids shuffling down
flower girl, ring bearer, all gather around

vows spoken, their first kiss
a moment you can not miss

wish them well, then to the reception
first class ushers make their impression

a toast, a prayer, then on with the food
tea and lemonade from barrels is spewed

after all is done the ushers let out a sigh
boys snatch balloons to get a helium high

the planner, the ushers, the bride and groom
all resting now except the sweep and broom
