Solitude

by brokenmirror   Oct 10, 2007

Confined to this room
All alone
A tiny speck of light
In this abyss I call home
Trying to find a place
For my tortured soul
Where the wounds can be healed
Where my heart wont be cold
And Ive finally realized
That solitude is the wrong path
Loneliness
No one should be alone

The loneliness of solitude
And a tormented soul
No one should be alone

The cries of the outcasts
They dont fit in
Uninfluenced by society
Now they cannot win
They must hide their feelings,
Their secrets, their "sins"
In their minds and
Under their skin

The loneliness of solitude
And a tormented soul
No one should be alone

Confined to our rooms
All alone
A tiny speck of light
In this abyss we call home
Trying to find a place
For our tortured souls
So we no longer
Have to be alone

The loneliness
The solitude
Of our tormented souls
We shouldnt have to
Be alone
