Untouchable soul

by Iola   Oct 10, 2007

In your depth and calm
Inability
You spoil me with your heat
My hands are cold and yours are warm
Unsatisfying disability

Your love just more than I
Anticipated
Your delivery way below
You wrap me in a loving tie
I did not know I did not know

Hatred toward understanding
Life
And me who lies naked in your arms
Falling into you may be a soft landing
Whilst the touch of your hands give warmth

Two lovers who cannot go there
Ever
Because life is packed with funny paradox
My love even deeper but a body that wants to share
Palpitation of disbelief and shock

So the beauty seen by your arty heart
Deeper
Than the touch I forever crave from you
Close each day but in reality apart
Because of what you just cannot do ...

Very touching and emotional...love the structure of the poem and the feelling of sadness that permeates....well done....
