WHATEVER

I sit here, alone in my room
Everything's so quiet and still
I close my eyes, think so deep
There's inner peace I feel

Memories I, so long, keep
Thoughts run through my mind
Feelings are brought back again
Emotions of different kind

The peace slowly fades away
Scribbled words unsaid
Confusion slowly taking place
Blurred pictures in my head

Despite the silence that surrounds
My heart screams out loud
Tears start to wet my cheeks
I feel left out of the crowd

These thoughts and feeling that I have
I can't seem to understand
I frown then smile or laugh then cry
I worry too much before hand

Tired and sleepy, I think I am
I guess it's time for bed now
I lay down, my eyes open wide
I'll fall asleep anyhow

I offer all of this to God
I've got nothing more to say
This poem is just so whatever
Writing this poem ends my day
