Jill and Jack

by Todd   Oct 10, 2007

Jack and Jill went up a hill,
Needing more than simple water
But peace on earth
Had too much girth
To be mere bucket fodder

Jack sack down and
Though he beat his brains all 'round
he could get no farther
Till Jill came next
On a woman's sturdy legs
And offered Jack a barter

With you I'll share
The best secret anywhere,
A woman's endurance great
If me you'll place
On even terrace
My heart and body and pate

Jack thought, still, upon that hill
Silently for all his worth
And as a sign
Of his acceptance fine
He placed hereafter Jill first

I really liked this ,a catchy idea. I liked the flow and the play on words to redo an old nursery rhyme, very cute!
