Things Of The Past

by Coco   Oct 10, 2007

The feelings of pain
The thoughts of tomorrow
The sin we create everyday,
We don’t realize
The afterthoughts of never-ending dreams of the dead
The silent sorrows of the past
My disciple is gone,
Or is she there waiting for me?
In a place of perfect pain,
Where the pain is love
The tears are of joy
The sorrows are of sweet surrender,
To the humble peace to the angels
Things of the past flow thru my veins
Circulating in my mind,
Penetrating my skin
Devouring the presence of myself
Never knowing when they will pass away
The days lost to the demons lingering about my mind
Is there a reason for this maddening pain?
The trust of the unknown is so tempting
Am I giving in to the things long forgotten?
Creeping up to the doorsteps of this reality
Things of the past,
Never knowing, never wanting, never forgiving
