What a rotten day this turned out to be
I still can't believe she'd her 7 month old baby
she just got her two babies back, then she just moved to Missouri
then she loaded her car and said after a while
she'd done this before but this time she didn't cry
that's why I'm sitting on the front steps, staring down the road
wondering what�s going to happen to those babies
3 weeks later I got a phone call, it was my mom
she said I need to sit down for this, and that's got me worried,
she had told me sis just set baby Wayne on fire
The next day he was 7 months old
then my mom said he'd lost all his finger tips, 2nd to 3rd degree burns, both ears he'd lost,
she said he was revived twice, doctors also sewn his eyes shut
21 days after the fire, they cut his left leg off and an hour later he died
my mom had just got off the phone I dropped the phone and I ran away, I had to get out of the house for a couple of hours to let myself cry.
