I do love you...

by ECILA ice   Oct 11, 2007

Last night I committed a suicide
I've surrendered my life, my immortality
As I turn my back to the god of love
And chose to lie in the cradle of death

I gave up a promising paradise,
and preferred to walk on these thorns,
I can feel the sensation of hurt and pain
Pricking deeply into my own flesh and soul

I risk heaven for an eternal hell
Burrying my dreams at the dead valley
I risk what my future holds
Everything is now gone, I know.

A promising life soiled in my own hands
The meaning of my existence have faded away
Letting the wind blow and destroy it,
Letting it go so easily (my own fault)...

But heaven knows the truth,
Now, as I recite your name in the air
May this wind send you this message,
"I still love you more than you know, sorry if i have to let you go"

** this one is really special to me.. temporarily the title is that, but i'll change it later. and the figure of speech in here is just, irony and hyperbole.

**thanx to fsams..

I enjoyed in this one, you created incredible atmosphere in it, and it is totally unique. It isn't typical love poem which is excellent, it is really refreshing. You mixed good imagery with superbly expressed emotions and that makes this piece really fantastic. Well done!
