Making a Difference

by Odette   Oct 11, 2007

They make fun of her everday
How she talks
And even how she walks

They tease her in school
Push her into walls
Yet no one can ever recall

No one even glances at her
No one can help her out
All she is in is serious doubt

She is fed up with life
Sick of being treated like this
All she wants is to have bliss

I look at her being treated this way
She has sadness in her eyes
I can see how much she cries

I stand up for her
I talk to the tormenters
I hope this can end her terror

I speak to them
They just laugh and walk away
I am dismayed

She looks at me with a smile
Thats the first time anyone has stood up for me
I am now finally free

I made in a difference in someone's life
I made the suffering end
I had made her my friend
