My Athiest Belief

Is god listening?
does anyone know?
or is he something made up
to make us fear and stay in line?
caos and corruption out of control,
but he can't stop what happens in your heart.
only you decide.
you faithfully say your prayers,
hoping that someone other than your parents is listening.
never knowing, always wondering.
will we ever see this one called God?
or will we forever live in darkness and fear?
believe if you wish, don't if you don't.
but as for me, we, and us, the athiest.
believe that something or someone is out there.
other than that
we can only wait and see.
