Children Of The Wind.

Children Of The Wind.

Droplets of rain fall from the sky burning into my palish skin.
How wondrous it is to see the truth lingering about the sky.
Their eyes a`glow forevermore, along with hearts of love.
And, minds alike in all too many ways soar above on angels wings.
The wind, it blows, pushing me forward - into a land of hope.
And, the tears that fall, they break my heart; shattered memories.

How wondrous it is to see the truth lingering about the sky.
Their wings within a grasp of sigh - yearning for attention.
What's lost is lost, but how far gone are the hearts of youth?
Too far gone, oh too far gone - societies taken them astray.

Dear children of the wind, pushing me forward into a land of hope,
take my hand, I promise you the best days of your youth.

For, your eyes a`glow forevermore, along with hearts of love -
take me back to the good old days - into a land of hope.

Well, you most definitely have a way with words. You're able to take a simple sentence and absolutely bring it to life in the head of the reader.
This almost seems like it should be called "Land of Hope" - that phrase seems to pop up alot in this piece.

This line below really blew me away..
"What's lost is lost, but how far gone are the hearts of youth?"
    Lovely!
