Hey Stranger

by Marcus   Oct 11, 2007

I talk about you daily
I still don't know your name
I feel as if I know you
Your eyes are what I blame

You pass me in the hall
You look in my direction
We glance at each other
As I admire your perfection

Your short hair
Your Innocent eyes
Your elegant style
Your proportional size
Your beautiful smile
Potential as vast as the skies

I can see it in your eyes
Something is missing
I wish it was me
It's probably something different

I contemplate approaching you
I'm afraid to take that risk
You might be already taken
Or just not ready for this

I sit and wonder
How do you approach a stranger
Without making them think you're weird
Or provoking any sort of anger

How can I say this without putting my heart in danger?
I'll start by saying these two words "Hey Stranger"
