INTRUDER

by Kay Anjella   Oct 11, 2007

My life is the night, my heart is the home
My life is not lonely though I am alone
My life is the night, my heart is the home
My heart is complete, a whole piece on its own

One moment in the night, you broke into the home
I should've safeguarded, if only I've known
One moment in the night, you broke into the home
Stranger you cam in the restricted zone

In the middle of the night, you stole pieces there
An act unnoticed, unanticipated, unfair
In the middle of the night, you stole pieces there
I was left defenseless in an instance so rare

You left silently and swiftly as you came in
The night remains calm and serene
You left silently and swiftly as you came in
The home remains vulnerable and clean

My life is the night, my heart is the home
My life seeks for the presence of the man I've once known
My life is the night, my heart is the home
My heart seeks for the intruder, and the part of him he's shown
