The dance of life

by CoUrTnEy   Oct 12, 2007

As they sauntered across the floor engulfed in their first dance,
Eternity sped by, in less than a glance.

So happy together intertwined in shared love,
Future children rejoiced, from far up above.

As they swayed to the music, he chanted into her ear
"With no one else would I rather be here."

Tears filled her gaze and without a command,
He wiped them away, his too, with his hand.

United in friendship, and everlasting care,
He kissed her, and sealed it with a meaningful stare.

As they danced there that day, he made her his wife,
And in a glance, they pondered their beautiful life.
