Forgotten

You forget to say I love you or hi how was your day.
To many things for you to do I guess I'm in your way.

You forget to tell me that you need me or just let me
know you care.
I guess there's just not enough time or not enough
for you to share.

You forget to make me happy that's just to much
work for you to do.
And all I ever wanted was for you to love me too.

You forget that I am human your lover and your wife.
I'm supposed to be important and your kids are your
whole life.

You forget that I need you and I always thought you knew.
I just hope one day I don't forget the way you always do.
