Beautiful Obscurity

by Taylor   Oct 12, 2007

I opened my eyes,
For the first time in my life,
Seeing the world for what it was,
And I began to cry,

I saw the darkness,
The hopeless,
I saw the side ignored,
I fell in love,

With the depressing splendor,
With the beauty of hate,
In wonder with treachery,
I awoke with msytery,

My heart was alive,
My soul trembled with sinful joy,
I now have a malicious delight,
I feel more alive then ever before

You are a really good writer. I'm not normally into dark poems or anything dark but you've captured my attention with your poetry.
