She'll act like a angel
Sitting near the trees
flowers falling in her hair
She'll sing with the bees
She'll cover her face
with makeup and all
hiding her beauty
so no one sees her fall
She'll wear clothes
her mother picks out
She'll smile sweetly
without a doubt
She'll cry in her room
head in her hands
she'll sit and curse
Cd's of bands
She'll look out the window
wind threw her hair
face wet with tears
hugging her teddy bear
She'll forget about love
All the things she is
She'll listen to others
Sad as it is.
She'll go for a walk
Thinking of their lies
her sweet smile
not reaching her eyes
She'll go to bed
reading a love book
She'll envy the characters
And the people they hook
She'll get dressed
And walk to school
try and ignore
everyone whose cool
She'll remember who she is
ashamed that she
let them get to her
Make mum some tea
She'll start anew
being everything she is
Bright, bubbly and fun
The girl called Liz
*Um...if you didn't understand it it is basically a story about year 8 and what the girls can say that changes someone so much and ruins half their life*
"she'll curse all her
Cd's of bands"
That last line didnt go with the flow. Maybe if you changed it to something like "She'll sit and curse, All her CD's of bands." but hey, do what you want.
That is a way sad story. Year 8 sounds harsh. It definitely made me think about ever wanting to call someone a name or anything. You really put a new light on the effects of that sort of thing. Many people (mostly girls) struggle from it, and I like what you said about it. It gives people the sad side rather than just the "fun" side of it all. Excellent job!
