Broken

by Melissa   Oct 12, 2007

Beyond the grasp of sanity
you reached inside and twisted me
you stole the peace that I held dear
you filled me with disdain and fear
You dowsed the flame that once burned bright
You stole the sun, turned day to night
You crushed my dreams and hopes as well
You pulled me to your private hell
Misery loves company
It was too late before I'd see
you have become a parasite
no care for what is wrong or right
You take until there is no more
Then move on to the next score
Open wounds you left in me
I will have eternally
