My Love, My Hero, My Suicide Victim

by EpithetPoet   Oct 12, 2007

You created an image from dirt and twigs,
Molded yourself into frankincense, gold, and figs.

Your death came to me as stars in the sky,
Beautiful, mezmerizing, and shocking everytime.

My love for you will never fade from my heart,
You held me higher and gave me a bright start.

I wish I could have taken your pain away,
Held you close and made everything ok.

You left me and this world over a year today,
And if you were here, I'd tell you I love you the same way.

Through our poetry we became very close,
Out of everyone I know, you helped me grow the most.

I love you.
I hope you're happier now.

I read over this flooded with guilt. To think my absence brought such lovely content into existence is frightening.

    Thank you Epithet Poet.

    Again ... thank you.

I am amazed. I cannot believe how your style has changed and grown. The messages you convey are so well contrived and captivating I'm almost afraid to begin writing again. You have such an imense ability - it's almost frightening. It's spectacular.

What a piece. Just beautiful. Your tribute is touching and the scheme is grand. What a lovely poem twisted with the raw heart wrenching pain of losing someone.

    Muchos kudos ;')
