Invisible Dove

by Jason Rainey   Oct 12, 2007

Invisible dove,
Fly us away,
To a place where we can stay,
A place of peace,
A place of fate.

Invisible dove,
Spread your wings,
Give us a day of love and rings,
Give us all that life can bring.

Invisible dove,
Watch over us,
Make sure nothing comes undone,
Make sure it stays as it does,

Invisible dove,
I love her and she loves me,
Its the only way I'd want it to be.

(I first wrote of the invisible dove a long time ago and will continue to. I believe everyone has one. The dove can do many things for a person. It has meaning beyond it's earthly existence.)

This is very sweet! I really like how you have picked a dove and then the way you refer to it throughout the whole poem.

    Very sweet and inspiring...
