When we first met
you didn't see
that me and you
were meant to be.

Though you were married
It didn't take long
for you to see
that you and her were all wrong.

So ya'll split up
and you came to me
you and I were 1 in the same
yet nobody wanted to see.

You and I were happy for awhile
our love grew everyday
but then you got in trouble
and had to go away.

I've tried to be strong
and yes I really do love you
but to you, right now
I can not be true.

Yes i want to be with you
I want to be your wife
but for now, it can't happen
I gotta live my life.

When you get out
I will be here

with nothing to fear.
