I think we all have crossroads like this sometime in our life. But I think you have to face what you fear the most, even if it does bring pain. Because if you don't think about it, nothing will ever happen, and life is supposed to challenge us, sometimes in the most brutal ways. Cause how else can you get stronger? I really like this poem... it makes you think. Keep up the great work.
