She's Free

She smiles
but its all a lie
She fakes it
people wonder why

She'd broken
Heart and soul
She feels like
She'll never be whole

She empty
She can't explain why
she hides in her room
and has a good cry

Her razor
has become her close friend
cutting her open
never letting her mend

She tries
to fix the ache
It never stops
She's had all she can take

She cuts
deep into her wrists
till the blood
pours across her sheets

She groans
as the pain comes sharp
but knows
it'll soon end

Under the moon
she slumps against the wall
her hearbeat slowing
her blood smears aginst the wall

She breathes her last breath
Saying sorry
I've always tried
to do my best

With that
her spirit gone
No pain she'll feel
only peace
only silence
and forever free
