Breeze

by Nathan Collins   Oct 13, 2007

If you were a breeze
I would love you
Even though you'll be
Gone so soon

So take this heart and
Take it in and
Make it yours
Where do I begin
To describe this
Endless capacity
For love
You and I
Are not so different
Flesh and bone and
Human desire
So many times
I fall far too soon

If you were a breeze
I would love you
Even though you'll be
Gone so soon

So take this mind and
Turn it into
A lovely place
That only thinks of
You and how
I don't know what I'd do
Without your love
Use me oh so selfishly
My foolish heart
Will follow all
The way
Sometimes I am so blind
As I run after you

If you were a breeze
I would love you
Even though you'll be
Gone so soon
