I'll smile

by Hannah Emellia   Oct 13, 2007

I'll smile though I'm broken,
I'll smile for you all,
I'll smile while I'm hurting,
I'll smile though I fall.

If you fake it long enough,
No one can see the glass,
Remember all the lies you told,
Hide the face behind the mask.

I'll smile while you break me,
I'll smile for your sake,
I'll smile while my tears fall,
I'll smile though it's fake.

You were once my everything,
You took it all from me,
You left me broken, lost, confused,
You took all I could be.

I'll smile but I can't remember,
Why I even cared at all.
I'll smile though I never noticed,
I was just your puppet-doll.
