Lies of Lords

by firexdancer   Oct 13, 2007

A whisper, softly carressing my skin
fascination of the words within
like falling rain, into my head
the words so beautiful
as if I could use them to live

They dance, like the way birds must do
flying in the air, around and through
twisting and turning, an impossible feat
branding their flight into my heart
burning me with their words

I know that each and every word is a lie
but I long to believe each and every cry
as they spin the words and weave
like the slurring of a burning fire
bringing my own thoughts into the flames

The lords grin at me, so beautifully
reaching out their arms, a silent plea
against my will, my hands reach back
bringing me into burning insanity
the oblivion of my own gorgeous lies

    "fascination with the words within"
    ^^ with/within I think that's too much 'with' 's, eh.
Maybe switch the first with to 'of'.

Wow, I love it. Honestly, it's almost flawless. You had that one thing I thought was a bit off with the with/within.

The emotion was quite amazing, along with the flawless flow and amazing word choice.

    Keep it up darling.
