The Incubus

by Kayla Brown   Oct 13, 2007

Your majesty filled my glass
The bloody alcohol smile
Romantic, but ll aware
of your cunningness and wile
Your velvet hand upon my face
I'm a pawn of your disguise,
Wrapped up in darkness, warmth and love
Kissing my virgin eyes
A slave to bittersweet music,
I dance under your consent
A slave to crimson feeding,
for whom it was never meant
A candle lit inside my heart
My love, master of my soul
Warm sharp fangs deep in my veins
Torn apart but wondrously whole....
