Fear is Only in our Minds

by Romancing the Darker Side   Oct 13, 2007

Playful memories cease to grasp,
The days that rolled over our heads.
We lay down now and stay, aghast,
In our mindful phobias' simple threads.

These fears can no longer break me,
Nor can they harm you again.
Though we've withheld the key,
Things still haunt us now and then.

Inside us we treasure this find:
Fear is only in our minds.
