I used to be the sweetest thing
happy as can be
until the day I lost everything

I got a mom who stopped to care
I have a dad who is never there
and now I'm alone in this world

never to return to paradise
never to see my smile again
never shall I live a good life

I used to be the sweetest thing

I lost a friend so dear
she went down with life
I wish today she was still here

so now I'm stuck to struggle on my own
wishing to be in her shoes
wishing for a home

I used to be the sweetest thing
happy as can be

crying every night
popping pills to make everything seem like its alright
so no one will see
that life has actually gotten to me

I run and hide
terrified of who will come to find
where did the real me go??

    Can totally relate; About the parents thing (Mums an irresponsible alco, Dads in a diff state) and I've lost a friend, but she didn't lose her life, we just lost touch.. </3
