Fallen so soon,
a boy i met
just a week ago today

his face follows
me into dreams
saves me from my nightmares

scares away the monsters
makes me dream of being with him
of him holding me tight

i know nothing
about this boy-
only that his name gives me chills

and when i hugged him
he held me tight,
tighter than anyone before.
i liked it,
i felt safe with him.
