The Vampire Princess

by Needer of You   Oct 14, 2007

Viscous smile, hungry smile, blood dripping down
Dug her teeth on his neck, not a single sound

Unsatisfied, searched for more
Opened her wings, flew out the door

Searching and searching, she saw her victim
Grabbed him, he turned around, it was 'Him'

So tall, so handsome, he melted her heart
Unafraid, ready to attack, it was the start

Tearing her to pieces, she didn't react
Sadly, she was in love, sad sad fact

Not knowing what happened to her, he walked away
Not knowing she was in love, she went his way

Gave up her position as the Vampire Princess
Gave up the blood and all that mess

Days in, days out, years went by
For him, she said, she was ready to die

Treating her like an ordinary friend
Or maybe even less, she wanted that to end

She listened to him, he commanded her
Suddenly something in her heart began to stir

Why do I give him my everything?
Why am I such a foolish thing?

Whatever he gave me was next to zero
All he gave me was pain and sorrow

Her wings, uncommanded opened again
She was surely giving up the pain

Flew into the dark night
What a beautiful sight

Back to the dark Vampire Kingdome she went
She straightened everything that she bent

The vampire citizens carried her on their shoulders
She was the one to protect them from boulders

Vampire Princess again she gained
But within her heart, the scar remained
