My First Love

The very first day we met
A sign of everlasting love
Eyes meeting eachothers
As we were reaching for a hug

First things we shared
Were first things to us
Holding hands and kissing
And growing stronger in love

Now though, days do pass
It's getting darker outside
Reaching and grabbing my chest
As if i were going to die

My first love has left me
And the pain tends to build up
I see her happy with him
But yet i never gave up

I'm still trying and trying
And wishing for faith
Always waiting here ready
With a bible to pray

Some prayers unanswered
But yet some of them are
Still always here waiting
Though we're so far apart

I still remember how we started
And what we didn't finish
You said "always and forever"
But this was never mentioned

Some promises are not meant to be
And others, there just broken
I guess thats what there made for
But i still always kept hoping

I dedicate this to my first true love, Diana Kim. We were together for 3 years and 2 1/2 months with every single day growing deeply in love. I will always miss and love her "Forever & Always" with all my heart. Always remember ~08-07-04~!
