God, I Know You Are Up There.

by Roxy   Oct 14, 2007

I'm overwhelmed by this sensational feeling of fear.
Hold on tightly, for at last my perfect image is clear.
No one can stop me from taring helplessly at myself.
You all used me, Like a rag-doll I was stored on a shelf.

Don't say you understand 'cause I know you truly dont.
When I say I will really do it,dont presume that I wont.
All it takes is one needle to get rid of the grief and strife.
Just one prick of that needle can take away my soarful life.

My heart can't be mended, It has never been complete.
I'm hollow and empty though I shall never admit defeat.
God, I'm giving you my life but I'm not quiting this game.
I'm just simply putting a stop to all this self inflicted pain.

The sun vanishing into dusk, another 'happy' day gone by.
Another gleaming smile upon my face, another stupid lie.
God, I know you are up there...So why make us all cry?
Besides why are we all living life if we were made to die?
