The Perfect Moment

by Resplendant Rose   Oct 14, 2007

Arms wrapped around me
like the sun's warm embrace
fingers traveling over my body
with their smooth quiet grace

The look of love in my eyes
like a child's trust in life's simplicity
our tongues touching in rhythm
a great pulse of electricty

Staccato heartbeats matched
like a couple's great duet
beats and rests and notes
perfect in a way I'll never forget

This poem is filled with emotions, truly beautifully written. You did good job with rhymes and wrote this great piece elegantly.
I like this poem from the beginning to the end, you expressed emotions excellently in every stanza.
