October Love

by x Mo x   Oct 14, 2007

The autumn sun rises in the east
Preparing the world for the visual feast.
Streaking the hills, mountains, and lawns
With reds and golds brighter than the dawn.
Crisp air filling my lungs, my soul.
Reminding me of my heart's burning hole.
Charred, burnt, and re-patched
From this October love that has hatched.
My dreams are haunted in an appealing way,
Setting the stage for another wonderful day.
Blue skies never looked so divine.
Autumn colors never sent shivers up my spine.
Never did I feel so spectacular and in love,
Until I experienced total nirvana from above.
