Sunrise

Its amazing how nature looks in the dark
with the sun ducking beneath the hills
in the distance the song of a beautiful lark
so much beauty i cant fight off chills

i see animals going to take their rest
and others waking for the first of the day
the full moon turning into an elegant white crest
so much wonder my mind goes astray

the air smells of the sweetest rose
although none are growing in sight
the mountains are covered with angel white snows
the chill is leaving from night

the sky is tinted with different hues
each affecting me in a different way
so many shades of pinks, reds and blues
its as if the rainbow is at play

a small hummingbird dances across a flower
and white butterflies flutter with grace
the sea roars showing its power
while the wind sings from place to place

the sky and the sea meet out off the shore
as the sun peeks from its hiding place
nature has awakened so bright once more
the sun shining on mother earths smiling face....

Whole piece is filled with beauty, you wrote it excellently. I like your descriptions a lot, they're so vivid and you created amazing and refreshing atmosphere with them.
    My favorite stanza is:

-the air smells of the sweetest rose
although none are growing in sight
the mountains are covered with angel white snows
the chill is leaving from night-

    Keep up!
