Little girl

by Gemma   Oct 15, 2007

You were my laugh and smile.
Now you're just a name I write on paper.
I know nothing about any more.

From you I've learnt love isn't always happiness,
Just a gut feeling y0u can't get rid of.

You opened my eyes for who I really am.
But now that little girl has disappeared and no-one
will ever see her again.

I will hide my smile for your eyes
My laugh for your ears
My ears for your voice
And my kiss for your lips

But this little girl can't hide forever
And I'm nearly sick of waiting.
So you better come back soon before
This little girl moves on.
