Forever

How long is forever?
Does anyone know?
It's a lifetime and then some.
That place we cannot yet go.

Where will I be in forever?
Will you be there too?
If you get there first, wait for me,
I shouldn't be long, don't worry, I'll find you.

While we are here
We are all slaves to time
But, there in forever
You'll always be mine.

I don't know when I'll get there,
But one thing is true,
When I get to forever
I'll spend forever with you.

    That is so sweet!!
    it reminds me of a quote: if nothing lasts forever, then may i be your nothing.
    i wish i knew when forever would come,or at least to know that it will set me free.
    i wrote a poem like this,this is really good though

    Wow. All I can say is, the flow was wonderful, I could see the meaning, and the whole poem just painted a picture of love in my mind.
