Love, Do I Have to Prove?

You're words always sweet
Filled with love and care
But now you're testing me
Is this some kind of dare

What are you trying to prove
I can't seem to understand
How could you think
I'd let go of your hand

Me, get tired of you
Are you out of your mind
Just look at your schedule
Time for me is hard to find

So, if I don't accept that
Does that mean I don't care
That I don't love you anymore
That I don't have time to share

You completely misunderstand
What ever I'm trying to say
Is this fantasy falling apart
Since we don't meet every day

Always looking forward to
The day I get to see you
My words get all jumbled
You think I'm feeling blue

When I see your face,
You take my breath away
And I forget everything
That I wanted to say

But no matter what
Always remember one thing
No matter our path
You always make my heart sing

From the day I wrote the poem
I haven't changed anything
You wanted to by my "Sweetie"
You'll always by me Prince Charming.

    This is such a beautiful write.
    The imagery you painted in this was beautifully done, it created very vivid pictures for me.
    Your flow was perfect throughout the entire piece, and although at times it was filled with such melancholy, it was still such a beautiful write and a beautiful read.
