Breaking Bad Habits

Breaking Bad Habits

I stopped checking license plates
And counting laugh lines on your face
I don't look at pictures of you
Or cry anymore, it's true.

Are your eyes brown, or was it blue?
So much time since I've seen you.
What was your favorite song?
Guess it's really been that long.

And for me did you ever care?
I don't remember you being fair.
It wasn't love, it wasn't lust.
Between us, there wasn't trust.

A tough decision to make
But it was either bend or break
The only answer was to let go
And still I know, the hurt shows

You made everything wrong feel right
Held me in your grasp so tight
I'm breaking a bad habit today
By choosing to simply walk away.

I can't change what happened then
But I won't go back again
If that means you'll be a memory
Than that's the way it'll have to be.

Than that's the way it'll have to be.'
how true, and it is hard to break a bad habit, but once you do the freedom so rocks lol
