Forbidden Love

by Ron   Oct 16, 2007

How does one hide from a love forbidden,
a roller coaster of emotions to keep hidden.
where can one find the deepest abyss,
to avoid the trap of loves first kiss.

Where does one hide from such passionate desire,
that burns as hot as the suns eternal fire.
where can you go with shadows so deep,
to avoid the pain in peaceful sleep.

how fast must one run to beat the light,
and forever escape into the night.
How strong must you be to break the embrace,
and forever end this forbidden chase.

I do not have an answer for this I ask,
for to this day I still wear my mask.
Held tight in this forbidden dance,
still dreaming that I have a chance.

I tried to forget this angel that I prize,
but her face I see each time I close my eyes.
so until I find these answers that I seek,
my deepest love of her I will not speak.
