The man i was yesterday is died and gone
The man i grew up to be is fast and strong
wiser from the mistakes i learned from
my stamina greatly increased like the beat of drums
i use my knowledge different each day
having a goal of never seeing Grey
my education was doubled and my laziness pummeled
through hard work and preparation was i able to make this change and devastation
taken care of my business is the first thing on my mind
close my eyes and pray to my god all the time
knowing that if he is with me everything will be alright
also I'm older which gives me better insight
insight and experience in what's right
All this to put my dreams in flight
a death wish given by the man that died yesterday
which is to complete a goal
live happy till the end of my days
