Ugly

I am ugly,
And I am sorry.
I am ugly,
And I deserved all the things you did to me.
I am ugly,
And I deserved every ugly thing you said to me.
'You are ugly,'
Was a cry I that I did not allow my heart to hear.
'You are ugly,'
Hurts so much more now that I am in love with you.
'You are ugly,'
Brings cracks to the soul.
