Outburst

What is there to say?
When you took all my words away?
You shut them up in a box,
All locked up tight.
Knowing I would try to get them,
With all my might.
Kicks and punches to my soul,
Made me stumble through a hole.
Trying hard to rise up and be good.
But all I can do is hide behind my hood.
You break me down,
I have to frown,
I look like a clown,
I know you'll let me drown...
In a puddle of my own tears,
Wallow in all my fears.
Never giving me a hand
To help rise above your expectations.
never
never
never
Be good enough for you daddy....

This is a really good poem. I voted for it a 5/5 because of the emotion behind it. I loved the realness and how unafraid you were to admit your feelings. Some words were used figeratively and can be taken literally and I loved that especially. Keep your head up and keep up the great writing.
