I still remember you and I still ask myself why
Every day I think of you I think inside I'll die
I always listen to that song you sent me
Why can't I just spread my wings away from you and be free

Every night I promise myself I'll let go of you and your kiss
But every night I can't forget so I can't live in bliss
I know letting you go was a big mistake
I know this 'cause I can feel my heart ache

Come back to me please, I want you, I need you
I always thought we were strong and that we could pull through
I guess I was totally wrong that time
You were my love, my 'partner in crime'

    It's very sad and very sweet. I guess we all have someone we wished could stay but they don't. It's all so sad, but at the same time, it's what makes us human. This really is a well done poem. :)
