Starry Nights, Wintery Nights

by Sensual Butterfly   Oct 16, 2007

Starry nights, wintry nights
Nights of dark and cold.
Stand still like one so big
An Indian brave and bold.
Starry nights, wintry nights
Nights the snow must fall.
Do you hear my whimpers of fear?
Do you hear my call?
My call of freezing
My fear of frost bite.
The cold tears in my eyes
That blur my sight.
Starry nights, wintry nights
Oh how heartless you have been.
For you have taken the life from
My dearest and closest friend.
For she was driving on the night
The snow began to fall.
Began to skid and hit a tree
And burst into a fire ball.
