A Lullaby of Violence

by A Victim of Fate   Oct 16, 2007

Don't listen to the hits and slaps, Little One,
It will all end very, very soon wait 'til we see the sun.
Listen to my lullaby,
Go to sleep and dream of things gone by.
Ignore everything as I hold you to my chest,
Bury those memories under Earth's Breast.
I will protect you from the world,
You are my sister, my beautiful little girl.
Do not jump as I pull the trigger,
Dream, don't open your eyes to the wine red puddle getting bigger.
Be safe and ignore the warm liquid on your face,
I shall wrap in a voilent love's embrace.
Mommie will not be coming back,
A knife through her back is nothing lack.
You are my family and my life reborn,
Ignore the seething of a child's scorn.
I will watch you grow up in your own way,
And when the time is right I will tell you...
How I murdered our parents the day.
I hope you will forgive me and be true.

Thank You I like to write lullabies sometimes. Sad thing is that my friend who used to sing really good and sang them passed away about a year ago.
