Love

by A Victim of Fate   Oct 16, 2007

Love is not worth fighting for,
When in the end they want you no more.
Love is like the smell of decay,
Each day stinking, giving itself away.
Love sounds of a mewling kittens cry,
As the newborn watches her parents die.
Love looks like that of a shape-shifter,
It takes many forms but only will blister.
Love carries your heart on a string,
Each day a new needle makes its sting.
Love is as decieve as a snake,
As it gets what it wants and all it can take.
Lpve is a battlefield,
A fight that will never yield.
Love conquers the weakest of minds,
Because it knows all the lines.
Love is an enemy no one can capture,
But eventually it'll lead to rapture.
