The Seven Leaf Clover Part V1: Ninja Squirel

So I said my thanks to the Faerie,
He dropped me off in the forest where the sword lies,
It’s right in there, in front of me, where the sword hides

I took a big breath
And then a little step forwards
when I saw it! Death
Right in my face!

No, it isn’t- Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to talk,
So I look down; and the thing that jumped on me,
Was the size of about two pieces of chalk

It was a hairy squirrel
With big, round eyes
It looked so cute, and innocent
My sister would take a look at it and cry
But I didn’t know at the time,
What was staring back at me through those eyes
Was a horrible, twisted psychopathic monster
Ready to kill me and make me die

It jumped onto my head,
I started jumping around
It started pulling my hair off,
Then it plugged my ears with it, I couldn’t hear a sound

I tried to shake it off,
But it was no use,
What was wrong with it? What the deuce!?

It was yelling, I was screaming
It was biting, I think it’s teething!

Then it jumped off,
And brought out a sword, (Where you ask? No idea…)
And then took out a dagger, and passed it to me
At least it’s giving me a fighting chance,
I’ll make it learn not to mess with me

He slashed at me, I blocked it
He stabbed at me, I parried it
He jumped at me, I forced him back
Now we were truly dueling,
And I discovered that for this, I have a knack

It’s been a couple minutes,
Of slash, slash, block, block stab
He barely missed my head that time;
That’s it, he’s making me mad

SLASH! SLASH! STAB! BLOCK!
It just kept going on and on,
This must be some sort of record; there should be a clock…

He made an easy to block stab
I blocked it without a sweat
I knocked the sword out of his hand,
This is it, I won, the end
But then I heard a loud noise,
There was a pain in my chest
Everything’s going dark-
My vision is blurred up, it’s a mess

But I could make out,
A tiny object,
Shaking with triumphant laughter-
The little thing was holding a gun,
What was the joke anyway? Surely, nothing was the matter…
