Legend of the Frozen Sun

by Vesper   Oct 17, 2007

In a land far away
A land covered in snow
The winds in icy valleys play
And each day stronger and colder they blow...

Life's nearly gone
Nothing moves there
An eye in the sky stands alone
Coming from nowhere and going back there...

The sun - frozen and dead
Over the land stands bold
And frozen tears it sheds
And they fall down to earth - icy and cold...

On the surface it's frozen
On the inside it burns
Always hoping for one who is chosen
Always waiting for the day she returns...

Then the fires will burn
Melting the surface of frost
And the frozen land in turn
Will never again be dead and lost...
